How do I qualify?

Physical Therapist I: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program. Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina. BLS.

Respiratory Therapist I: Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board and registry eligible by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Must be registered within 6 months of hire. BLS on hire.

Respiratory Therapist II: Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required. Note: Current teammates with active Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification by the NBRC and a minimum of 15 years of experience as a CRT and are ineligible for the RRT board exam with demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of respiratory care also qualify for this role. Dependent upon population served and regardless of if RRT or CRT, all teammates must have at least one of the following depending upon practice area: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Adult Care , Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - NICU, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - PICU/Rex, Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT), or advanced practice certificate to administer moderate sedation in Bronchoscopy Lab. All certifications must be maintained as required by the certifying body. Two (2) years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.

RN (New Graduate):

What is defined as a new graduate nurse?

· Nursing student in their final semester of nursing program or;

· Nursing graduate within 12 months of graduation; and

· RN who has worked less than 6 months as a registered nurse.

Requirements: Graduation from a school of professional nursing. If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina by the day of clinical care. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification

RN (Experienced): Graduation from a school of professional nursing. If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification. One (1) year of nursing experience.

Security Officer: High School diploma or GED. Valid North Carolina Driver's license. CPR Certification prior to completion of 12 months of employment. Requires one (1) year of previous work experience. Must be proficient in oral and written communication. Basic computer skills.

Surgical Tech: Requires High School Diploma. Graduation from a Surgical Technology program. BLS required. Surgical Technologist I-A: Entry level position for new graduates of Surgical Technology program or Surgical Technologists with less than twelve (12) months of outside experience. Surgical Technologist I-B: Requires twelve (12) months of full-time equivalent Surgical Technology experience.
