Medical Director Employee Health – UNC Rex & UNC Rex Holly Springs

UNC Rex and UNC Rex Holly Springs is seeking a part time (0.3 FTE) Employee Health Medical Director. This position will provide supervision, collaboration, consultations and evaluation of medical acts performed within the scope of practice over the Advanced Practice Provider. The director will review employee health standing orders and services offered policies annually and PRN. This position is required onsite and scheduled 12 hours per week.

UNC Rex Holly Springs
Adjacent to the REX Healthcare of Holly Springs campus, the 50-bed Rex Holly Springs hospital opened November 1, 2021. Services at the hospital include an emergency department, maternity center, surgical suite and much more.
Holly Springs is a town in Wake County, North Carolina, United States. As of the 2020 census, the town population was 41,239, a 67% increase from 2010. Holly Springs is welcoming more biotech business to the town with the groundbreaking for The Yield today. The 200-acre campus off Holly Springs New Hill Road will feature space for all kinds of unique life sciences companies. The project is being developed by Crescent Communities of Charlotte. It is adjacent to a planned $2 billion monoclonal antibodies plant by FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies and the world’s largest flu vaccine plant, run by Seqirus. Biotech giant Amgen will build a $550 million biologics plant in Holly Springs.
