This is a 1099 contractor position, with a monthly stipend of $675 per month

This role opens up after Mary Rippe steps away after a full year of work in this position, and aims to build off of the tremendous foundation of processes and work that she was able to complete during her time with Triangle Ultimate.

Triangle Ultimate provides Ultimate Frisbee leagues, programs, and outreach to adults and children across the Triangle region of North Carolina. As a non-profit, our mission is to collaboratively build a community emphasizing accessibility, relationships, and engagement through learning, playing, and teaching the sport of Ultimate. Since 1996, we’ve helped to grow opportunities to play the sport of Ultimate in our area and expanded participation at the youth and adult levels. We are fortunate to have a very vibrant and active Ultimate scene in the Triangle.

General Responsibilities:

The Digital Marketing & Communications Coordinator helps Triangle Ultimate grow awareness for our programs and connect with community members by leveraging expertise in strategic communication and executing engaging digital campaigns across paid, owned, and organic platforms. This position will have seasonal support from a communications interns and/or Summer Americorps Associates.

Responsibilities .

In this part-time contract position, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing Google Ads campaigns using Google Ads Grant
  • Creating, executing, and reporting on seasonal paid social media campaigns
  • Optimizing front-end of website for user experience (basic, no coding)
  • Formatting and editing monthly community e-newsletters
  • Ad hoc work, including organic social media campaigns Tools used: Hootsuite, Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, GoogleAnalytics, iContact, Excel

Minimum qualifications:

  • Certificate or degree in marketing, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience clearly communicating in writing or visually
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with non-profit marketing
  • Experience with graphic or website design
  • Creativity, curiosity, and a desire to help others doesn’t hurt :)
  • Understanding of the sport of Ultimate Frisbee
