Job Description	The Department of Computer Information Systems in the School of Business, Management & Technology is seeking applicants in Computer Information Systems. Pending experience, the position is a non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Computer Information Systems. Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities will be to teach seated and hybrid undergraduate level courses in a variety of computer information systems areas including, Microcomputer Software Applications, Linux, Operating Systems, Cyber Security, and Networking. Expected to engage in scholarly research and service. The desired candidate must demonstrate interest in areas of grant writing, community service, research, and partnering with university stakeholders. Must be actively involved with professional organizations and will have the responsibility to advise student within the major; serve on departmental and University committees, and assist with recruitment and retention across the department, community, and business partners. It is desired but not mandatory for the applicant to have experience with Red Hat systems, cyber security, and hold a CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate). Saint Augustine’s University (SAU), drawing on its rich legacy as an access institution, is a student-focused, comprehensive educational institution that produces outstanding graduates prepared for personal and professional success. SAU was established in 1867 in Raleigh, NC by the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina. A four-year liberal arts university with an average enrollment of approximately 1,000, SAU sits on 105 lush acres just north of Downtown Raleigh, NC. The institution offers more than 20 undergraduate degrees and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) Program and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
