Job Description
The Department of Computer Information Systems in the School of Business, Management & Technology is seeking applicants in Computer Information Systems. Pending experience, the position is a non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Computer Information Systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibilities will be to teach seated and hybrid undergraduate level courses in a variety of computer information systems areas including, Microcomputer Software Applications, Linux, Operating Systems, Cyber Security, and Networking.
  • Expected to engage in scholarly research and service. The desired candidate must demonstrate interest in areas of grant writing, community service, research, and partnering with university stakeholders.
  • Must be actively involved with professional organizations and will have the responsibility to advise student within the major; serve on departmental and University committees, and assist with recruitment and retention across the department, community, and business partners.
  • It is desired but not mandatory for the applicant to have experience with Red Hat systems, cyber security, and hold a CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).
