Position Overview
Primary Function of Organizational Unit

To conduct multidisciplinary and inter-institutional research focused on health issues that disproportionately affect minority and underserved populations. The Postdoctoral Researcher will also train students at JLC-BBRI/Kannapolis Campus.

Primary Purpose of Position

The Postdoctoral Researcher will provide assistance to the PI to ensure the accomplishment of our ongoing research projects at JLC-BBRI/Kannapolis site. The Postdoctoral Researcher will function in our organizational unit by maximizing efficiency within our labs, as well as the JLC -BBRI/Kannapolis as a whole.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The position requires Ph.D training and experience in cancer biology, cell and molecular biology. The Postdoc is expected to be able to complete a project under the supervision of the PI.

Previous experience with molecular biology, cancer biology and alcohol studies is preferred.
