Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities | Candidates must demonstrate currency in the discipline, effective oral and written communication skills, and sound financial knowledge of the global economy. The successful candidate must have the ability to work collaboratively with multiple and diverse stakeholders sufficient to build relationships. Candidates must demonstrate excellence in teaching in the areas of strategic management and/or entrepreneurship, exhibit efficient use of instructional technology and the capacity to engage students in their teaching. The ability to produce scholarly publications is expected. |
Minimum Education/Experience | Candidates must have a doctorate degree from an AACSB accredited program in management, entrepreneurship or closely related business discipline. Must provide evidence, either by record or potential, of ability to produce scholarly publications in the field of management and/or entrepreneurship. |

Describe the specific tasks and responsibilities related to the function. | The review of candidates will focus on their teaching, research, service, and alignment with the mission of the School. Primary teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and/or graduate courses in strategic management, entrepreneurship, and/or general management. Selected candidate must be prepared to teach in face-to-face and online environments and have evidence of teaching effectiveness. The selected candidate must also demonstrate a track record or the potential for producing publications necessary for the School to meet current AACSB International accreditation standards. Service to the School, University, profession and community is also expected. |
