Primary Function of Organizational Unit | The primary purpose of Residential Life is to provide living accommodations that are safe and well maintained. Additionally, these living accommodations provide a learning environment that supports the academic goals of the University. |

Primary Purpose of Position | The Assistant Director Residential Life, Housing Services provides leadership and development for 1-2 Full-Time Administrative Support professional and 1-2 ACUHO-I Summer Graduate Interns. Additionally, the Assistant Director serves on the central leadership team in a department that houses over 3,000 students. The Assistant Director provides departmental leadership in marketing, recruiting and assigning of students in the residence halls. The Assistant Director supports the educational and programmatic aspects of a residential community through ongoing student development and education of Housing Services’ policies and procedures. The Assistant Director is also responsible for the overall operation of summer camps and conferences. The Assistant Director reports to the Executive Director for Residential Life. |
