We are seeking a Senior Pricing Advisor to join our team! In this exciting role, you will engage with key stakeholders in Sales, Underwriting, Leadership, and Subsidiaries to coordinate, quote, and complete financial exhibits for large ASO new and renewal groups with 500+ employees. Daily tasks include ensuring that rating, quoting, and exhibits are in alignment with business rules, market competitive, accurate and on-time. Additional responsibilities are comprised of working with stakeholders to improve processes, tools, analytics, and strategic planning to enhance quoting capabilities and overall market offer.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support sales and retention of ASO business by working closely with Blue Cross NC Sales to provide group financial analysis, consultation, pricing, and quoting.
  • Coordinate, create, price, and release new business and renewal proposals between Subsidiary, Blue Cross NC Underwriting, and Blue Cross NC Sales to meet deliverable deadlines.
  • Maintain, review, track, and approve various outputs to ensure that the terms of the ASO administration fee deal are in alignment with what was quoted, priced, and sold.
  • Actively participate in internal final rate negotiation, pricing, and quoting with internal and intercompany stakeholders.
  • Manage a book of business with up to 300,000 members in alignment with business and guidelines rules, pricing rules, and defined market offer.
  • Initiate processes and system changes resulting in enhanced productivity and adaptability to changes in the market offer.
  • Participate in department’s strategic and tactical planning.
  • Develop and provide training to sales and other key stakeholders on rating and quoting model.
  • Apply data analytics across book of business to identify trends or patterns and take corrective action.

What You’ll Give:

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
  • 5+ years of experience in related field.
  • In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Bonus Points: (Preferred qualifications)

  • Experience in the Large ASO Group Market
  • Experience with complex self-funded groups
  • Strong organization and ability to manage multiple opportunities at various points in the pricing and quoting cycle

Salary Range

$69,000.00 - $124,200.00
