Process Overview
Wealth Management Technology team is responsible for all GWIM products catering to the Wealth Management clients. The products includes Investment Products for GWIM and US Trust clients, products for the Financial Advisors to cater to the Wealth Management Clients.
This team performs application development, testing (functional and automation), design/architecture and business analysis functions to deliver the technology solutions through robust and scalable application platforms developed on various technologies such as Java/J2EE, .NET, Angular, Mainframe, CockroachDB and DB2.
Brokerage Authorization provides middleware services for authorizing and executing the trades for the Wealth Management applications.
Job Description
This job is responsible for defining and leading the engineering approach for complex features to deliver significant business outcomes. Key responsibilities of the job include delivering complex features and technology, enabling development efficiencies, providing technical thought leadership based on conducting multiple software implementations, and applying both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies. Additionally, this job is accountable for end-to-end solution design and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
- Responsible for writing code, unit testing, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces.
- Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.
- Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
- Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
- Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
- Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.
- Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance),analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause.
- Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
- Participate and contribute in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes

BE/BTECH/MCA
Experience Range
6to9 years
Foundational Skills
- Experience developing solutions using Java and Spring Boot (Min Java 8)
- 6+ year hands on experience in Java and related concepts
- Basic understanding of Kafka and CockroachDB (Nice to have)
- Good understanding of Design Patterns and design thinking. Able to apply while developing technical solutions
- Familiarity with REST Web Services and related technologies (JSON, XML Technologies).
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills both written and verbal and the ability to quickly form meaningful working partnerships.
- Works well under pressure. Manage multiple priorities, be proactive, and deliver quality results under aggressive deadlines.
- Self-starter, good aptitude, Problem Solver and someone who is open to learning new technologies and comes with strong analytical skills
