These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools. Participates in the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies.

Job Description*

Global wealth management technology is looking for an experienced Senior DataStage & Tableau Developer

Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. This individual must be 100% technical resource operating with a DataStage/ODM and GWIM application background. This role involves to effectively communicate with CIO and technical partners and help in removing gaps in business requirements.

Responsibilities*

• Resource should work and support agile technical team which consist of QA Analysts (Testers) and Technical Analysts (developers) in delivering application related changes for Advisory compensation applications. The role requires working with other application teams, lines of business representatives and testing teams to design/code/test/implement technical solutions which meet the business requirements. The ideal candidate would have at a minimum requires banking/GWIM experience.

• B.TECH/M.TECH/MCA.
• Certifications If Any: Agile related trainings and Banking Domain certifications are value added.

Experience Range*

• 08 to 10 Years.

Foundational Skills*

• Strong Data Stage, ODM &Tableau Developer skills.
• Excellent debugging skills.
• 8+ years of extensive experience working in DataStage who has actually implemented those DataStage processes in production.
• Has experience transforming legacy mainframe jobs using DataStage.
• Ability to read JCLs and COBOL programs.
• Familiarity interfacing DataStage processes using 3rd party java utilities, web services and Rest APIs.
• Experienced in presenting data points through Tableau analytics.
• Skillful in scheduling and handling exception of jobs running Autosys (that is running DataStage processes).
• Strong understanding of Git version control, CI/CD, and ability to work in an agile and fast paced environment.
• Very good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Authors DataStage Jobs and Sequence in re-engineering existing Mainframe processes and documents those processes as prescribed by Bank’s DS standards and conventions.
• Responsible on advising current SMEs how to go forward on challenges in transforming current mainframe applications (data transformation, dependencies, and routine handling).
• Significant experience in Implementation and release management activities.
• Analyze the current business functions and plan for needs, problems, and improvements with the help of line of business knowledge. This study helps to define and evaluate different solutions and arrive at the optimal one.
• Experience with Implementation and release management activities.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Experience in Agile development methods and tools.
• Effective oral and written communication.

Desired Skills*

• Mainframe, DB2, SQL, Autosys, Unix Scripting, Tableau.
• Financial Services industry experience.
• Ability to create adhoc raw reports or analytics from ETL’ed data using Tableau.
• Experience in writing technical requirement based on the analysis of line of business needs, objectives, and existing systems in the infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• DataStage deployment tools knowledge.
