Process Overview*

This position will play the role of a Software Engineer III Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals using Java in Wealth Management Technology.

Job Description*

The individual will design and develop the Java based applications. Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces.

Responsibilities*

Participates and guides team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved. Documents and communicates required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.

Experience Range*

• 08 to 10 Years.

Foundational Skills*

• Experience working in Java / J2EE Spring Boot, RESTful API, JSON/XML, Web Services, consuming REST / SOAP APIs.
• Experience working in Java Hibernate for connecting to multiple data sources including DB2, Single store.
• Proficient expertise in tools like JIRA, Bit Bucket, Ansible, XLR.
• Documents and communicates required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
• Good Communication Skills and Experience working in a diverse team.
• Good Investment Banking or Wealth Management Experience.

Desired Skills*

• Ability to work in cross-functional and multi-location teams.
• Excellent communication skills, motivated collaborator & strong people skills.
• Ability to take on tasks independently and see them to completion.
• Ability to work on a multi-tasking environment within a strict timeline.
• Domain experience in Wealth Management.
• Candidates with previous experience in Merrill Lynch / BofA Investment banking domain knowledge platform preferred.
