Location: Coastal Carolina Internal Medicine, PA

Position: Certified Professional Coder and Billing Specialist

A certified professional coder and biller accounts for coding and abstracting of patient encounters, including diagnostic and procedural information, significant reportable elements, and complications. Researches and analyzes data needs for reimbursement. Analyzes medical records and identifies documentation deficiencies. She/he will also need to manage insurance claims, invoices and payments. At least 1 year of experience in the field is preferred. Training and on-going support provided.
